A new, mid rise, low density condo (finished in 2010) in the prestigious Jalan Abdul Samad area (in the general area of the Thistle hotel). The building includes just 47 units so you will likely have to work a bit harder to find agents that are offering units here (just because it is so small). It is close to the Sri Muria condo on the west side of downtown about 10-15 minutes from CIQ.

Units are 1389, 1410, 1485 or 1528 square feet. The condo residents enjoy a pool (a small one), gym and sauna. As with the other condos expats favor, Sri Mulia Condo has security personnel on site 24 hours a day.

The area appears to be very quiet – there is a large grass lot adjacent to the condo (I would imagine it will be developed at some point). They seem to have done a nice job with landscaping to provide a feel of nature. The area is a bit away from much within easy walking distance but there are a few places to eat and in a short car ride or a bit longer walk you can get to downtown. The condo is near the Thistle hotel.

The units seem to be finished and furnished very nicely. Purchase price for condos would likely start about RM 700,000 and go up from there. Rental seems to be about RM 3,100 – RM 3,700 a month.
